1837 convict gravestone of John Donohoe stolen in Linden between July 15 and 17.
A historic convict gravestone dating back to 1837 in Linden was stolen between July 15 and July 17. The grave marked John Donohoe's resting place near Linden Station. Despite being disturbed and moved in previous decades, efforts were made to preserve the monument. The Blue Mountains Police Area Command described the gravestone as locally significant, but investigations to date have failed to locate it.
