Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced plans to localise design, camera effects, and overall product experience, focusing on "India-centric" products. The company has reached 150 million smartphones produced at its facility in Greater Noida and plans to invest ₹3,000 crore in its upcoming facility and expansions. Vivo leads the Indian market with a 19% share and has over 70,000 retail outlets, 650 exclusive stores, and 650 service centres, generating around 200,000 jobs directly and indirectly.
