Bangladesh holds nationwide mourning for 150 killed during quota reform movement violence.

Bangladesh observes nationwide mourning on Tuesday, wearing black badges and holding special prayers in mosques, temples, churches, and pagodas, to remember those killed in recent countrywide violence during the quota reform movement. The Cabinet decided on this following a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. A total of 150 people were reported to have died during the clashes and violence surrounding the protests for quota reforms.
