1 killed, 2 injured in Georgia car crash: A Georgia woman, Veronica Carol Proctor (32), was killed in a head-on collision near Chesnee, SC, on Sunday after her 2008 Honda Civic crossed the center line while traveling north on Highway 221-A and struck a southbound 2023 Honda Civic. Proctor, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. The other driver and her 6-year-old daughter were taken to Spartanburg Medical Center for treatment.
