12-year-old girl hit by SUV in Pennfield Township while chasing a ball; injuries not life-threatening. The incident occurred on July 27 at 9:35 p.m. on East Roosevelt Avenue near Sharron Avenue. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office reported that the girl ran into the roadway while chasing the ball, and an SUV, which tried to brake, struck the child with its passenger side mirror.
