35-year-old Douglas Loveless died in a single-vehicle crash on I-59 in Etowah County.
35-year-old Douglas C. Loveless from Steele was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Etowah County on I-59 near MM 194. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon when Loveless's Nissan Sentra left the road, hit a tree, and struck an embankment. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
