26-year-old Alex Nylander, brother of William Nylander, signs a one-year AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies.
The Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the Maple Leafs, have signed forward Alex Nylander to a one-year AHL contract. The 26-year-old, who is the younger brother of Maple Leafs star William Nylander, finished last season with the Columbus Blue Jackets after being acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins in February. Alex recorded 11 goals and 15 points in 28 games split between the Penguins and Blue Jackets.
