The Supreme Court of India is launching a special Lok Adalat from July 29 to August 3 to address the backlog of cases. The initiative, part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations, aims to provide an informal, technology-based solution for voluntary and consensual dispute resolution. Cases related to matrimonial disputes, property disputes, motor accident claims, land acquisition, compensation, and labor issues will be prioritized for speedy settlement.
