2025: SsangYong Torres, a Toyota RAV4-sized SUV, has been approved for sale in Australia, with sales starting in October. The Torres will have three variants, all powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, and will come with standard safety features, including autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot assist, and lane-keep assist. An electric version, the Torres EVX, is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024. The Torres is set to compete with RAV4 and X-Trail in the mid-sized SUV market.
