Paris Olympic triathlon practice swim cancelled due to poor water quality in the Seine River. Authorities have assured the water will improve in time for the actual events, scheduled for July 30 and 31. The International Triathlon Federation, local authorities, and the Paris Olympic Organizing Committee jointly decided to cancel the familiarization swim due to insufficient water guarantees.
