New Zealand midwife Registered Midwife A censured for multiple failures in care, two stillborn babies, no longer practicing.

A New Zealand midwife has been censured by the Health and Disability Commissioner for multiple failures in her care of seven women, two of whom had stillborn babies. The midwife, known as Registered Midwife A, is no longer practicing and has stated she has no intention of returning to the profession. An investigation found that patient rights were breached in five out of seven cases, and her competence was questioned.
