11-meter yacht rescued by Arranmore RNLI after engine failure near Arranmore Island; towed to Burtonport Harbour.

Arranmore RNLI rescued a stranded 11-meter yacht with two crew members after engine failure two miles off Arranmore Island. The lifeboat crew connected a tow and brought the yacht to safety at Burtonport Harbour. The crew of the yacht did the right thing in asking for help, as weather conditions were favorable with a light southerly wind and a half meter swell.
