Malaysia's Producer Price Index (PPI) rose 1.6% y-o-y in June, up from May's 1.4% growth, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia. All sectors experienced an increase for the fourth consecutive month. In Singapore, producer price inflation increased more rapidly, driven by rises in both the oil and non-oil index, with Singapore's manufacturing PPI increasing 4.4% year-on-year in June compared to May's 3.5% rise.
