Indian EV startup Simple Energy secures $20M Series A funding for expansion and product development.

Indian EV startup Simple Energy secured $20M in Series A funding led by HNIs from Haran, Velumani, Vasavi, and Desai family offices. Funds will be used to scale local production, expand dealership network, and develop new products. The company, founded in 2019, offers electric scooters Simple One and Simple Dot One with certified ranges of 212 km and 151 km, respectively. They aim to achieve a top line of Rs 150 crore this fiscal year.
