2020 dismissed Metropolitan Police officers Jonathan Clapham and Sam Franks, accused of lying about smelling cannabis during a stop-search of British athlete Bianca Williams and her partner, Olympic sprinter Ricardo Dos Santos, will have their appeal heard by the Police Appeals Tribunal in October 2021. The officers were dismissed after a disciplinary panel found their conduct breached professional standards of honesty and integrity.
