Study in JAMA Psychiatry finds frequent childhood moves increase depression risk more than growing up in a poor neighborhood. Over 1 million Danes born between 1982 and 2003 were studied, showing adults who moved often had significantly higher risk of depression, even those from wealthier areas. Moving frequently in childhood poses a greater risk for mental health issues than living in lower-income areas.
