BluPine Energy, backed by Actis' Energy Fund 5, secured Rs 239 crore ($32 million) from Tata Capital for a 75 MW solar power project in Chhattisgarh, India. The project, which will generate 117 million units of energy annually, is expected to offset over 107,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. BluPine aims to build a 4GW renewable energy portfolio exclusively in India.
