50-year-old Spain-based businessman Francis Akajiobi was arrested at Lagos Airport by the Nigerian National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 1.20 kilograms of cocaine hidden in his sandals. The drugs were en route to a friend in Spain for a €5,000 fee. NDLEA also arrested a suspect named Makinde Sodiq Lekan in connection with the seizure of 51.60 kilograms of synthetic cannabis at the airport.
