200 tonnes of strawberries from across the country are set to hit Tesco shelves due to improved weather conditions. The increase in temperatures and sunshine has led to a higher-than-expected crop volume, with the fruit expected to be big, juicy, and luscious. Kent fruit grower Mansfields reports the quality of the strawberries is "very good," and Tesco is buying up surplus crop to help tackle food waste.
