South Korea, the US and Japan have signed a formal document establishing the Trilateral Security Cooperation Framework (TSCF) to enhance their joint responses to regional security threats. This marks the first jointly signed agreement to institutionalize security cooperation, including high-level policy consultations, information sharing and trilateral drills. The agreement aims to provide common policy guidelines to ensure peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula, the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
