Tyler Phillips, a South Jersey native and die-hard Phillies fan, pitched a four-hit shutout in his third big league start, leading the Philadelphia Phillies to an 8-0 victory over the Cleveland Guardians. The win included home runs from Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh, and Kyle Schwarber in a seven-run fourth inning. The Phillies later acquired closer Carlos Estévez as part of an eventful night at Citizens Bank Park.
