Mohamed Hassan Mohamud, a Somali healthcare worker, manages healthcare services in Jowle IDP camp with limited facilities.
Mohamed Hassan Mohamud, or 'Arab', dedicates himself to healthcare in Somalia's Jowle IDP camp in Puntland. With 50,000 displaced people, the camp lacks adequate facilities, but Mohamud and his team of 12 handle daily services, including vaccinations, disease treatment, and mother-and-child care. Despite balancing work, family, and study at UNICAF University, he continues to advocate for the health needs of vulnerable populations.
