Lagos Police Special Fraud Unit arrested two suspects, Ikeocha Daniel & Sylvester Ebeta, for allegedly defrauding a Nigerian FinTech company of N613 million. The duo exploited a system/network glitch that led to multiple credits for refunds to the firm's merchants, who then withdrew/transferred the funds. Criminal charges have been filed against them, who have confessed their roles in the crime.
