A poisonous worm, which can grow up to 15 inches, is invading parts of Texas. It thrives in hot and humid climates and is fatal if touched or ingested. Some people mistakenly believe it's a small snake and cut it in half, but doing so results in two living creatures. The Texas Invasive Species Institute advises using gloves to pick up the worm and placing it in a bag with salt and vinegar to kill it.
