Hong Kong establishes first 8 Ethnic Minority Care Teams with an annual budget of HK$110 million to reach out to 300,000 ethnic minority residents. The teams, under service centres, will deliver government info, connect residents with public services, and are expected to serve at least 8,000 people annually. Plans to establish 2 more teams are underway, aiming to cover major districts in Hong Kong.
