Delhi woman, Rani Punjabi, claims land allocated for Ayodhya mosque after Supreme Court order in Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case belongs to her family. She plans to move Supreme Court for possession. However, Zufar Farooqui, head of Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust, which is in charge of mosque construction, denies her claims, stating they were rejected by Allahabad High Court in 2021. Farooqui confirms mosque construction work, including the mosque, will begin in October this year.
