36-year-old Maoist commander, Reena Borra Narote alias Lalita, carrying a Rs 8 lakh reward surrendered to Gadchiroli Police in Maharashtra, India. Lalita was the commander of a tailoring team and responsible for logistics in the Gadchiroli Division of the CPI-Maoist. The surrender comes on the eve of 'Maoist Week' and she is now eligible for Rs 5.5 lakh in rehabilitation funds from the Centre and state.
