Providence police are investigating an overnight homicide in the Walmart parking lot on Silver Spring Street. A 51-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in a box truck near the store's entrance, and the suspect was taken into custody. The victim was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital. The suspect and victim reportedly knew each other and were at the store to work on the floors when an altercation occurred.
