61-year-old Jill Irving and her horse Delacroix, Canada's Olympic dressage pair, were withdrawn by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) due to the horse's unsuitability for competition. Chris Von Martels and Eclips will replace them, and Irving and Genesis will serve as traveling alternates. Christine Peters was replaced by Olympian Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu as the dressage team's chef d'equipe and manager due to personal reasons.
