55-year-old Georgian shooter Nino Salukvadze, who began her career with the Soviet Union, has become the first female athlete to participate in 10 Olympic Games. Salukvadze, who placed 38th in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, ties with Canadian show jumper Ian Millar for the most Olympic appearances by any athlete. She plans to compete in the 25-meter pistol event qualification on Friday.
