West Wales farmer, Aled Evans from Rest Farm, Henllan Amgoed, Carmarthenshire, has been awarded the prestigious Sir Bryner Jones Memorial Award by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. This accolade recognises Aled's successful farming practices on his 225ha farmland, which includes implementing longer grazing rotations, improving grassland species diversity, and transitioning from ploughing to direct drilling for forage crops to enhance soil health.
