Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has announced that he will not return to directing after his last film, Sadak 2. In a recent interview, Bhatt, who has directed over 50 films, said he feels "outdated" and is content with acting as a mentor to young filmmakers. The filmmaker, known for his pioneering work in the 80s and 90s, helmed Sadak 2 in 2020, which starred his daughter Alia Bhatt.
