USDA invests $1.1m in Vermont rural energy programs, expanding access to clean energy and lowering energy bills for farmers and small businesses. The Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) receives $163m in total funding, supporting 338 clean energy projects across 39 states and Guam. These projects are backed by the bipartisan Inflation Reduction Act, which focuses on combating climate change and boosting the US economy.
