Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh has said children and young people between six and 20 are most at risk from contracting dengue, accounting for 78% of cases in Trinidad and Tobago. He shared his personal experience with the illness at a news conference at the San Fernando Teaching Hospital. The Ministry of Health advises rest, hydration, and paracetamol for home care, along with avoiding exposure to mosquitoes.
