South China's Hanjiang River in the Pearl River basin has experienced its fifth flood this year due to heavy rainfall, with the Sanhe Dam's water level reaching 42.01 meters. The Ministry of Water Resources closely monitors the situation and released water from three reservoirs for flood interception. The Second Songhua River in northeast China saw its first flood this year during the peak flood season from late July to early August, which has led to flash flooding in various parts of China.
