South West Ambulance Service first in UK to implement VR training for incident commanders.

South West Ambulance Service is using virtual reality (VR) to train incident commanders, offering realistic scenarios like road traffic collisions, flooding, and terrorist attacks. The VR headsets and joystick-based training has been well received and may be expanded to Emergency Operations Centers where 999 calls are received. This initiative makes the South West Ambulance Service the first in the UK to implement this type of training.
