Paris 2024 Olympics chief Tony Estanguet confirmed an ongoing investigation into his salary as president of the organising committee by the financial prosecutor's office. The investigation has been underway since a few months, and Estanguet stated that his pay was decided in 2018 when he was not present in the meeting. In 2018, Estanguet was awarded an annual remuneration of 270,000 euros.
