NSW Labor passed a motion urging federal government to recognize Palestinian statehood.

NSW Labor has passed a motion demanding the federal government recognise Palestinian statehood, calling on Australia to acknowledge Palestine as a sovereign and independent state. The motion was moved by state minister Jihad Dib and received strong support at the state party conference. Dib stated that recognising Palestine aligns with Labor values of justice, human dignity, and solidarity.
