A man was fatally struck by a Toyota Prius on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago's South Side.

A man was fatally struck by a Toyota Prius on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago's South Side on Saturday. The unidentified pedestrian ran into traffic and was hit by the northbound car near 49th Street. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The Major Accidents unit is investigating the incident.
