Maldives resumed medical evacuations with India-gifted Dornier aircraft and helicopters after reaching an understanding with India regarding the repatriation of Indian military personnel operating the aviation platforms. President Mohamed Muizzu expressed gratitude to India for enabling the resumption with civilian crews from India. The Maldives National Defence Force confirmed the resumed services.
