On July 26th, Superior Fire Department extinguished a residential fire at 1817 Oakes Ave., rescued dogs, and later fought a large commercial fire at 5401 Oakes Ave.
Superior Fire Department fought two fires on July 26th. At 3:12 p.m., a residential fire at 1817 Oakes Ave. was extinguished, and several dogs were rescued. Later, at 11:26 p.m., a large commercial fire at 5401 Oakes Ave. caused the roof to collapse, but no injuries were reported. Both fire causes are under investigation, and the commercial building was deemed a total loss.
