Irish data watchdog expresses surprise at X's decision to use user posts to train AI chatbot, Grok. X users are opted in to the new system by default, with the setting allowing posts on the site and interactions with the chatbot to be used for "training". The Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) is awaiting a response from X regarding the matter.
