Flooding in southern Myanmar has disrupted traffic on a major highway, affecting travelers. Heavy rains in Thaton and Belin townships of Mon state caused the Yangon-Mawlamyine highway to be submerged in some areas, with the Belin River rising above its danger level. Local authorities, traffic police, fire service personnel and rescuers worked together to ensure the safety of travelers.
