Dutch artist Peet Wessels, known for her windmill paintings, is transitioning her passion into reality by training to become a mill operator, joining a growing number of women in the field. Wessels has painted windmills on reused canvas sails and now aims to maintain and operate them, starting at De Heimolen, an ancient wheat mill in Rucphen-Bosschenhoofd, near Breda.
