The cause of the Dinosaur Fire west of the National Center for Atmospheric Research Mesa Laboratory remains undetermined, as reported by the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. Fire investigators may not be able to determine the cause due to suppression activities used to fight the fire. The Dinosaur Fire was put out with the help of aircraft dropping suppression materials.
