Dartmouth Health's Southwestern Vermont Health Care is moving forward with plans to sell the former Southern Vermont College campus to Alfred Weissman Real Estate, LLC, aiming to turn it into a five-star luxury resort. The 371-acre campus will feature casual and fine dining, spas, fitness centers, and other amenities, while maintaining public access to nearby trails. Southern Vermont College closed in 2019 due to financial troubles.
