Co-pilot of an EasyJet flight from London to Lisbon fainted, pilot landed safely, and co-pilot received medical attention.
An EasyJet co-pilot fainted during a flight from London to Lisbon, with 193 passengers on board. The pilot successfully landed the plane without incident, and the co-pilot was attended to by paramedics on the runway before being taken to Lisbon's Santa Maria Hospital. This is not the first time airline staff have experienced health issues during flights; a Ryanair aircraft had to make an emergency landing last year.
