The Chicago Cubs acquire right-handed relief pitcher Nate Pearson from the Toronto Blue Jays. Pearson has a 5.63 ERA in 41 appearances with the Blue Jays this season and was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 2017 amateur draft. In return, the Blue Jays receive minor leaguers Josh Rivera and Yohendrick Pinango, ranked 23rd and 29th in the Cubs' farm system respectively.
