The Government of Canada has announced milestones for two new science facilities in the National Capital Area, as part of the Laboratories Canada strategy. This includes the $1 billion TerraCanada National Capital Area project, and a $500 million facility for Transportation Safety and Technologies. The TerraCanada NCA facility will support scientific advancements for sustainable land and resource development, and a low-carbon economy. The new facilities are expected to create hundreds of jobs.
