The Australian and NSW governments are investing $81m in 49 road safety projects across Sydney, including safety barriers and high-friction asphalt upgrades. This initiative supports almost 400 jobs and aims to reduce road fatalities and serious injuries. In South Australia, $8.9m is allocated to safety upgrades for 13 dangerous roads, with $5m dedicated to four regional projects, aiming to improve road safety and reduce fatalities on regional roads.
